Ronaldo celebrates Saudi Arabia’s founding day with a sword dance
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo joined his Al Nassr teammates in embracing Saudi culture and ethnic attire to celebrate the Middle Eastern country’s founding day.
The 38-year-old was all smiles and enjoying the day with his new teammates. During the Foundation Day event at the Al Nassr pitch, Cristiano can be seen putting on Thawb with his Al Nassr colleagues. Ronaldo can also be seen drinking an Arabic drink during the event and dancing with a sword in his hand.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star posted a video on his social media saying, “Happy Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day. Joining the celebration at @AlNassrFC was a special experience!” In the video, Ronaldo can be seen adapting to the new Arab culture and mingling with his new teammates.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January on a $214m annual deal. During his official presentation, Cristiano Ronaldo spoke of his desire to promote Saudi Arabia on and off the pitch. He said: “I gave my word to this club, not only to develop football, but other parts of the country.
