Reuters reveals AC Milan is target of sale talks with Bahrain-based Investcorp

Reuters exclusively reported that Bahrain-based asset manager Investcorp has entered into exclusive talks to buy Serie A club AC Milan, in what would be the first takeover of a major Italian team by Middle Eastern investors. A source close to the talks told Reuters the deal to buy the seven-time European champions from current owner Elliott Management Corporation is close to being finalized. A potential valuation for the club would be around one billion euros including debt.
