PSL 8 is set to kick off today with a colorful opening ceremony
In the opening match, defending champions Lahore Qalandars begin their title defense against Multan Sultans today at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Top players will inspire fans in a warm atmosphere and cricket fans expect season eight to be more spectacular than ever.
Multan, the city of saints, will host the opening ceremony where pop artists such as Abdullah Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Faris Shafi, Sahir Bagga and Shae Gill will give fans electrifying performances.
The stadium gates will open at 2pm today as officials have advised spectators to arrive early to avoid the final rush.
After Multan, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi will host the 34-match tournament. This time, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans are said to be favorites for top players. Qalandars, Kings are also powered by renowned international stars.
